A  NOTE  FROM  THE  PRESIDENT;  RICHIE HIGHT

 

 

I am honored to represent such a great region and have the trust of the membership tolead this region for the next two years. I know wih the great knowledge and input of the region it will make my tasks as president much easier. I am excited to work with new officers Cindy Lyon as secretay, Jessica DeWeber as treasurer and Dale Ikuta as vice president. Hopefully the membership will continue to grow and we will be able to hold more trials and not cancel the trials and not cancel the trials we have scheduled.  In return this will also make the region stronger financially.  Now that we have more membership and participation for the trials we will definitely need more judges as we can not expect the few judges that we have to take on the entire work and never get to run their dogs.  I encourage everybody thatis able to attend the judging sminar to do so, even if you do not plan on judging in the near future it will definitely make you more competive in the field when you really know what the judges are looking for.  In closing I would like to give a big thank you to Frank Rowe for his hard work the last two years as president, it will definitely make myjob as president easier. SUISUN MARSH HUNTING PRESERVE

 

Susiun Marsh Hunt Club  3475 Chadbourne Rd, Suisun ,CA

Directions:from I-80 and Hwy 12 take the Chadbourne/Abernathy exit. Go south on chadbourne(past budweiser plant) for about 3 miles to Suisun Marsh Hunt Club on the right.  We will meet in the club house.  If you have questions call Bruce and Cindy Lyon (707)863-8814

Ted Vlahos Sr and Bruce Lyon will be presiding as our instructors.

WE NEED TO GET AS MANY MEMBERS AS POSSIBLE OUT TO SUISUN MARSH ON AUGUST 2ND.  NEARLY ALL OF OUR CURRENT JUDGE EXPIRE AUGUST 1 OF THIS YEAR.  All other aspiring judges, and those that want to field marshal need to attend this seminar.

After the seminar, if its not to hot, we will attempt field work to judge some dogs as part of the seminar.  This is a great oppertunity for judges and non-judges like to get calibrated so that we have consistent scoring.
